Male vitality, plant-based. Tradition checked against the research.
Green Game walks through what a plant-based life can realistically do for a man's energy, testosterone, blood flow and sexual health, drawing on generations of Jamaican herbal knowledge and testing every claim against actual studies. Where a popular herb doesn't hold up, the book says so.
Men will ignore a lot about their health. Not this.
Wayne grew up in Montego Bay, Jamaica, in a culture where herbs, roots, bush teas and seeds were simply part of everyday life, and where men talked openly about what gave you strength, what kept the body functioning, and what to stay away from. Sometimes that knowledge came from an elder or an herbalist. Sometimes it was carried in a song.
Years later, after decades of plant-based eating, training and studying the plants, one question kept coming back: can a man improve his health, vitality and sexual well-being on a completely plant-based diet? That question became Green Game.
The book brings several worlds together. It explores the foods and plants that have always been part of the Jamaican conversation about male vitality, looks at nutrition through the lens of blood flow, hormones, energy, recovery, fitness, stress and sexual function, and then does the part most books skip: it examines what tradition says, what the science says, where they overlap, and where cultural experience should not be confused with proven medical fact.
It is not a book about one miracle herb. It is not a promise that one food transforms you overnight. And it does not argue that tradition should replace medicine. Traditional knowledge deserves respect, and respect does not require exaggeration.
Eight chapters. One complete picture.
Male vitality isn't one thing. It's the sum of what you eat, how you move, how you sleep and handle stress, how you feel in your own body, and how connected you are to the people in your life. The book moves through it piece by piece.
Understanding Male Sexual Health
How erections, ejaculation, libido and fertility actually work; ED, prostate health, Peyronie's, aging; the chronic conditions behind most dysfunction; the myths worth retiring; and when to see a doctor.
The Plant-Based Foundation
Blood flow and nitric oxide, inflammation, and the vitamins and minerals a man's body actually needs. What diet can do, and the honest limits of what it can't.
Testosterone, Naturally
What testosterone really does, what genuinely moves it, and the much longer list of "natural boosters" that don't, no matter how they're advertised.
Plant-Powered Fitness
The exercise claims that hold up (aerobic training and erectile function has the strongest evidence in the book), the ones that don't, and how to fuel it on plants.
Body Image and Confidence
Not "think positive." A specific, measurable loop between how a man sees his body during sex and what his body does during sex.
Mind, Body, Gut
Sleep, stress hormones, mood and the gut microbiome sit upstream of everything else. Sleep is the most measurable lever you have.
Relationships and Communication
How partners talk to each other, and how they attach, changes sexual outcomes by a margin most supplement advice can't match.
Beyond the Bedroom
Heart disease, diabetes, cancer and all-cause mortality in the largest cohort studies, and the one distinction that changes how to read all of them: healthful vs. unhealthful plant-based eating.
Superfoods & Supplements Field Guide
One quick-lookup reference for every herb, food and supplement covered: what it claims, what the evidence actually shows, typical doses and safety notes.
The tone of the whole book, in three passages.
"Strong Back root has been central to Jamaican herbal medicine for generations, rooted in Maroon healing knowledge and carried forward through Rastafari bush medicine… The honest fact is that no modern clinical trial has been run on Morinda royoc specifically. It's simply never been studied that way, not that it's been studied and come up short."Chapter 1 — Strong Back Root, A Living Tradition
"Ashwagandha comes out of it with a real, statistically significant testosterone increase in a controlled trial; tribulus, maca, and several other heavily marketed herbs don't move testosterone at all, despite being sold on that exact claim."Chapter 2, previewing Chapter 3
"Perhaps the most damaging myth in this entire space is the idea that sexual function is a referendum on masculinity or worth. It isn't. It's a body system, subject to the same physical and psychological influences as digestion or sleep."Chapter 1 — Common Myths Worth Retiring

Turn the package around.
Whenever a product claimed to be healthy, natural, clean, herbal or plant-based, Wayne got in the habit of turning it around and reading the ingredients. Too often the front of the package told one story and the ingredient list told another. That frustration became a reason to build rather than complain, and it runs through VitalLeaves, Taylor's Things, and now Green Game.
The book applies the same test to the men's-health aisle: it turns every "testosterone booster," every "Jamaican Viagra," and every confident-sounding article around and reads what's actually behind the claim.
What "turning it around" looks like in the book
- Tradition is described as tradition. Generations of community use is real evidence, of a different kind than a trial.
- Research is described by what it shows. A related species in a lab is context, not proof.
- Personal experience is labeled as such. Wayne's decades plant-based are his story, not a study.
- Marketing gets the same scrutiny as everything else. If a popular herb doesn't hold up, you read that here.
- Every chapter ends with its sources. You can check the work.

Before you buy
Who is Green Game for?
The man who wants to understand his body better. The man who already eats plant-based and wants to optimize. The man considering a plant-based lifestyle who's worried it means giving up strength, muscle, libido or performance. And anyone curious about where traditional Jamaican plant knowledge and modern nutrition science meet.
Is this a medical book, or a supplement pitch?
Neither. It's an educational guide. It doesn't sell a product inside the chapters, and it's clear about when a plant-based approach ends and a doctor's job begins. Nothing in the book is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment; talk to a qualified provider before starting any supplement, herb or exercise program, especially if you take medication.
What formats are available?
Paperback (6×9 inches, 104 pages, ISBN 979-8172471391, $12.99) and Kindle ($6.99, or free to read with Kindle Unlimited), both published September 2026 and sold by Amazon. The companion Green Game Recipe Book is also on Amazon in paperback ($12.99) and Kindle ($6.99).
